This is an extension of the Icon Series offered earlier this year and requested by those who participated. Please consider joining us for one or all of the 3-part Series and share this information with a friend.
This workshop will focus on the contrast
between traditional church Icons and those that offer a more modern, personal
perspective. We will view and discuss traditional Icons along with Icons
personally contributed by group members. We will explore why certain
Icons attract and hold special significance for us.
We will ask the questions: What is it that I see in this Icon that holds my interest? What is the difference between praying with an Icon and simply viewing one?
Time for group prayer will be a valuable part of this series
