Thank You, Parish Life Team!

Our Parish Leadership Team (PLT) would like to acknowledge and thank the Parish Life Ministry Team for the extraordinary ministerial work they have done when we were no longer able to meet "in person" starting in Mid March. This team of seven women did the following;

• Offered to assist anyone who may have had a need that they were unable to address during isolation. This offer was extended to at least three parishioners during the Month of April.
• Weekly telephone check-ins to every household.
• Weekly virtual fellowship after every mass.
• Summer Solstice gift bags delivered to every household.
• Zoom Trivia Night.
• Zoom Coronavirus Bingo Night.
• Welcome Back gift bags given to every person who returned to church beginning on July 5th.
• Hosted Tailgate fellowship after our first mass back at St. Christopher's on July 5th.  This "Tailgate Fellowship"  will continue indefinitely and will maintain the virtual option for those unable to attend mass in person.

It was also noted there was an unintended benefit that occurred: The team "met" via Zoom meetings most Wednesday evenings and had three "in person" meetings. These meetings resulted in a very nice community experience during isolation.

Guidance for Sunday Fellowship

This Sunday, we will begin having "TAILGATE FELLOWSHIP"

• Beginning Sunday, July 5th, continuing indefinitely, weather permitting
• Bring your own chair
• Bring your own food and drink
• Adjourn to grassy area and parking lot in front of church immediately after mass to enjoy socializing, observing social distancing.
• Bathrooms (Adam and Eve only) will be open during fellowship but no reentrance into the sanctuary or other areas of building.

Regathering Update #3

Parish leadership wants to give you an update on the latest with regards to re-gathering at St. Christopher's. 

This past week Parish leadership developed a plan for regathering that addresses the restrictions we need to follow in order to regather at St. Christopher's.

We know there are questions around our reopening and we would like to address those concerns with everyone at a Zoom presentation this Thursday, July 2nd, at 7:00 pm. We'll go over the plan and then open the floor to questions you may have.

When the Episcopal diocese moves to their Yellow Phase that lessens restrictions for regathering in their space, we too will reevaluate and restructure our plan.
