Our KIVA Lending Team just made its 19th and 20th loans to Janat in Uganda and Savay in Cambodia. In Janat's case, we provided the necessary remaining amount for her loan. To date, we have loaned $4,175.00 to women around the world. Our KIVA Lending Team is Damien Robinson, Ruth Wickless and Joe Wickless. They would be glad to share detail with anyone interested.

Adult Spirituality Opportunity
Lectio Divina is a way of reading scripture that is reflective, meditative,
receptive and responsive. With Lectio Divina, we read for transformation,
not merely information. We read with our heart as well as our mind.
Beginning on Monday, June 1st, and again for the next two Mondays, June 8th and 15th, you are invited to share in Lectio Divina. We will meet at the home of Ruth and Joe Wickless (until able to return to the church) beginning promptly at 7:30 p.m. and running to 8:30 pm.
No need to bring or buy anything! If you enjoy journaling, feel free to bring a journal. We will pray with the Gospel reading for the upcoming Sunday, June 7th.
For more information or if you have any concerns about participating safely, please reach out to Ruth at ra.wickless@gmail.com

Social Justice / Special Donations
For the past five years we have used "Tithing Ministry" as a term where we have identified groups that we chose to receive a certain portion of our donations on a monthly basis. We have decided that some changes are needed.
We will no longer use the term "Tithing Ministry" instead we will refer to this a the "Special Donations" Ministry. Also, and even more importantly, in recent months we have re-visited the methods we have used to arrive at these decisions. We still want to support as many groups as possible and advertise and promote the good works these groups are doing. One of the first steps in this "re-boot" is to solicit from our parishoners groups that they are aware of that they feel would be appropriate for receiving this donation.
We are asking everyone to prayerfully consider any groups that you are of aware of and forward the names of these groups to Charlie Ernst (cfe1215@gmail.com) or Jackie Ryan (1967@jyan@gmail.com). If you can include a web site or some basic information about the group that will also be very helpful. We are asking if you can submit these names by no later than Saturday June 6th .
We are looking forward to hearing from all of you.
Peace and Blessings
