Faith Communities of Baltimore With Pride (FCBWP) Event on January 18, 2021

A message from FCBWP: Because of your outstanding support for Black Lives Matter rallies we have a new name to reflect this special diversity. BLACK LIVES MATTER INTERFAITH COALITION (BLMIC) To start the new year of 2021, the BLMIC will hold a special rally to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. All BLMIC co-sponsors and supporters are called to join in the January 18th Dr. MLK Jr. and BLM Car Caravan. The Event Agenda is as follows: 10:30 a.m.: We will gather at the St. Matthews-Woodbourne parking lot. The plan is to decorate our vehicles with "washable window chalk" and signs with the words of MLK and BLM. Washable window chalk will be available. Please bring any other signs that you wish to display. 11:00 a.m.: Guest speaker, event comments, route directions and prayer. (Copies of the route directions will be available) 11:15 a.m.: Begin caravan. The caravan will follow this route; Loch Raven Blvd. (North). Right on Belvedere/ Echodale(East). Right onto Belair Rd (South). Right on North Avenue (West). Right on Charles St. (North). Right on Northern Parkway (East ). Right on Loch Raven Blvd. (South) ending at St. Matthews. 12:15 p.m.: Estimated time of return to St. Matthews 12:20 p.m.: Final comments, Plans for next event, Closing Prayer. Nominations for the PLT

In this new year of possibilities and hope, St. Charles of Brazil continues to move forward in answer to God's call to serve our community inclusively and unconditionally. We encourage you to submit a nomination, or submit your own name, to fill the two open seats on the Parish Leadership Team. Our Annual Parish Meeting is scheduled for Sunday February 21, 2021. The voting will be done virtually during the week prior to the Parish meeting. The Parish meeting will also be done virtually through ZOOM. Complete details will be provided as the date gets closer. Virtual Fellowship Invitation

The Parish Life Team met last evening and voted to resume Sunday Virtual Fellowship starting December 13th. The Zoom Session will begin at  1:00 p.m. This will be an ongoing Zoom event for  December and January. At our January Team Meeting we will discuss its success. If it goes well, we will continue every Sunday going forward until we have free access to St. Christopher's once again.
