Special Event Promoted by FCBWP

Hello to all FCBWP Members

We want to share this event with the group.  With Covid here, many programs are and will continue to suffer due to budget cuts. One group in particular that was underserved prior to the pandemic were  transmen*.   Achim Howard, an openly HIV positive black transman from the DMV area, will be sharing his story with the general public on zoom. in the program "My Testimony," on March 6th from 7-8:30 p.m.

The proceeds will benefit Element of Hope support of other transmen living with HIV, and Transmen Rising,  Achim Howard is currently establishing supports in the Deep South which is very challenging."

We hope our communities will be able to attend this important story and support the needs of transmen.

Blessings,

Rev. Carol Cook

Retired Disciples of Christ minister
